What a good piece! I really like the shadows on the muscles, and the lionskin, courtesy of the Nemean Lion, as well as the facial features. If I ever do a sketch of Hercules, I may give him a slight beard, but not a full bushy one. The Disney Hercules looked too young, and the Marvel Hercules looked too middle-aged. But yours looks very accurate according to the picture in my mind. I intend to make my Hercules late twenties to early thirties, somewhat similar to Kevin Sorbo when he portrayed Hercules, but my Hercules will have some stubble on his chin. Needless to say, good work!
yes this is how he looks, its called pelts and its called beard! thats how greek heros friggin look, not blonde, not clean shaven, not blue eyes. this is correct! thank you.
